Our Mission

Metraltus develops and supports interdisciplinary research, methods and collaborations designed to describe, understand and value products, know-how, territories, food cultures and intangible heritage.

Our work brings together scientific rigour, human dignity, responsible innovation and the African ethic of Ubuntu. We seek practical approaches that can serve producers, communities, researchers and institutions in Africa and beyond.

This public website presents the scientific purpose and social value of the programme. Proprietary technical implementations, algorithms, parameters, certification rules and protected intellectual property are not disclosed.
